Import external data

PhraseExpress can import bitmaps, text files, MS Excel spreadsheet or CSV files or 3rd party text expander software files.

You can import the entire file into the phrase database, import the contents into a phrase or generate individual phrases out of each line of the source file:

The data can either be imported into the phrase database or dynamically linked.

You can also create phrases based on Microsoft SQL, FirebirdSQL, MySQL, SQLite or Microsoft Access database queries.

Microsoft Outlook E-Mails can be analyzed for frequently used phrases which can then be imported as phrases for use in PhraseExpress.

PhraseExpress can also dynamically embed specific items from a file/database, such as Excel files spreadsheet cell contents or the result of an SQL database query into a phrase.

Word/Excel/Outlook import requires a local Word/Excel/Outlook installation.
