Switching from a portable installation

To switch from a portable installation to a client-/server setup:
  1. Install the PhraseExpress SQL Client Manager on a central computer (a "Server PC") that all client PCs can network-connect to.
  2. Keep the PhraseExpress SQL Client Manager running in the background.
  3. Install one PhraseExpress Client on any computer.
  4. Delete the sample phrases if not needed and import the phrase file (default file name "phrases.pexdb") from the portable PhraseExpress installation.
  5. Install PhraseExpress clients on all other clients which automatically connect to the SQL server..
