This documentation refers to PhraseExpress v7 beta. The documentation for current v6 is available here.
Sharing phrases
PhraseExpress can synchronize your phrase library "peer-to-peer" by using a local network share (NAS) or over the internet with a cloud synchronization service, such as DropBox, OwnCloud, etc
Access to individual phrases can be restricted to specific users, workgroups and domains.
Phrases can be shared with PhraseExpress for Windows. Due to different text formatting systems between Mac and Windows, phrases with bitmaps cannot be synchronized. The PhraseExpress for Mac version supports a subset of the macro functions available in the Windows version.
SQL server support has to be discontinued in PhraseExpress for Mac v7 due to incompatibility of external database driver components with current SQL server versions.
