PhraseExpress is designed to support HIPAA-Compliant Use

The software is installed locally and stores your text snippet databases within your own IT environment, either as a local database file or on your SQL Server. We do not host, transmit, or access your text snippet contents.

Access Control

PhraseExpress lets you manage access permissions for individual text snippets groups.

Encrypted Synchronization

The local database can be AES-256 encrypted, e.g. if you use the optional cloud based phrase synchronization. The encryption password remains under your control.

HIPAA Compliance Statement

PhraseExpress provides technical features and a local-storage architecture to support HIPAA-compliant use.
