Software Updates
PhraseExpress has an optional built-in feature that can automatically check for new software updates.
The version number of your current installation is displayed in the PhraseExpress main program window title bar (Click the PhraseExpress tray icon and select to open the main program window):
You can configure the update check in the PhraseExpress settings (learn more in chapter "Update Check" of the manual).
- If you do not get an update notification while you believe your installed version is out-of-date, you may change the update setting to include to check also for minor or experimental updates if you would like to install them.
- The automatic update check is not available if using the Network Edition. Please find more information in the manual of the PhraseExpress Network Edition.
- Please note that the version number of the update notification and actual availability of a downloadable version can be different as updates may be hold back for additional review and/or revoked because of technical problems.
- The latest stable version can always be downloaded from http://download.phraseexpress.com
