Server and client will not install

1:
We needed to install klient PhraseExpress Network (PEN) on a new computer and used the previously downloaded install-file for the klient (PEN). The installer gave an error message saying it could not continue because a newer version was available.

2:
The new klient software was downloaded and installed, but could not connect with the PhraseExpress Server (PES) because (the error mesage read) the PES was old and incompatible.

3:
The new PES was downloaded and installed, but it would not accept the licence-keys we have bought!

4:
The old PES can not be reinstalled because the installer stops with the message: A newer version i available.

PEN: v6.0.156n

As you can see we have a catch 22 her. We had thought we would base a lot of our production on Phrase Express, but now seeing the problems it creates we are uncertain. We bought a number of licences in 2009, we will not buy new ones upgrading to a version 7 now - we need to see that it really will be of help to us AND whether you have a licence update policy we can live with.

We are delayed in our production now, please help us out as soon as possible.

What is the error message here?

I have sent your question to our IT-expert for a more precise answer, but his oral explanation was something to the effect of : This key is not valid for this version of PES.

I will notify you as soon as we have the more precise answer.

If you have license keys beginning with "6". "9" or "4", then it would be for a previous version. The current PhraseExpress version only accepts license keys beginnning with "7".
